On April 16th and 17th 2018, the 4th Forum for the stakeholders of Education Quality Assurance will take place, focusing on ‘Education and Specialist: Professional Education Today and Tomorrow.” The Forum is organized by the National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance (ANQA) and will bring together representatives from Universities and Colleges, as well as local and international education professionals and employers.
The purpose of the forum is the following:
- To discuss the question of recognition of qualifications of professional education institutions by the labor market,
- discuss current developments, trends and challenges of professional education quality assurance,
- Identify the best practices and promote its dissemination,
- Come up with solutions for current global challenges through discussions with the stakeholders
- Promote the overall quality culture at all levels of education.
Topics:
Within the framework of the two-day forum, the following topics will be covered:
- Transparency in Vocational Education: The need for new approaches to education management and the implementation of a system of contracts based on performance indicators
- The role of pre-vocational education in the knowledge-based economy
- The development of modules and the improvement of educational and academic programmes in the contexts of sectoral descriptors
- The University-Employer Cooperation model by ANQA: test results and application
- The start of the second phase of institutional accreditation: expected changes.
Participants
The Quality assurance forum is a platform which focusses on discussions, professional development and experience sharing for professional education quality assurance stakeholders. The conference will be of particular interest to the rectors of universities, vice-rectors, deans, educational program managers, lecturers, quality assurance staff, students, researchers, quality assurance agencies and all those who work in vocational education institutions and quality assurance.
